Tigrent Learning UK goes for gold in the name of Wish Granting at the IVth Annual Gala Dinner 2010

Gold Make-A-Wish Supporter, Tigrent Learning UK’s US Chief Executive Officer, Chuck Peck, presents Karen England, Fundraising Director of Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK, with a cheque for £94,095.00 at this year’s IVth Tigrent Learning UK Gala Fundraising Dinner, held in London on Friday 5th February 2010, in the presence of 350 guests. In addition to a cheque totalling monies raised over the last year (2009/10) Tigrent Learning UK continued its fundraising efforts with a public auction after dinner and individual donations, in the presence of distinguished Tigrent Inc. representatives from both sides of the Atlantic, plus VIP guests. Key names included Teresa Graham CBE (Conference speaker); Oliver Rothschild; Henriette Kolb (Cherie Blair’s Foundation for Women) and the wonderful Chapman family - particularly the captivating charm of young Dillon Chapman whose Wish to meet Dani Pedrosa was granted by Make-A-Wish. Additional VIP guests present included valued Tigrent Learning UK associates Gill Fielding, as seen on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire; TV personality Martin Roberts and Kevin Green, as also seen on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire.
This year’s public auction included lots donated by Conciair Limited (a unique flight in a Hawker Hunter with an ex-Red Arrow Top Gun pilot); Martin Roberts and David Temple offering a day at the auctions plus a training programme; a ‘Year of the Tiger’ training day with Dr Rohan Weerasinghe and colleagues in London; a VIP Polo Day courtesy of Mark Weller and RLS Polo Club; ‘The Three Musketeers’, comprising Mark Dalton, Tigrent Learning UK mentor and trainer; Lindsay Hopkins, IFA and Tigrent Learning UK trainer and coach and Sean Thomson, Tigrent Learning UK trainer and mentor, offering a 60-day Lease Option Coaching programme plus a day of dirty off-road biking courtesy of the Yamaha Offroad Experience in Wales. In total, to date, these auction lots have raised an impressive £67,200.00 for Make-A-Wish with more fundraising in the pipeline.
The 2010 Tigrent Learning UK Conference welcomes smooth operators to the stage at this year’s Annual Conference - focusing on key lessons for entrepreneurs including the importance of a ‘people culture’ and social enterprise.

Tigrent Learning UK and 500 Conference delegates welcome keynote speakers Teresa Graham CBE and Richard Reed (co-founder of innocent drinks) to the stage at this year’s 2010 Annual Tigrent Learning UK Conference in London. Both Teresa and Richard’s presentations prompted thoughtful reflection, laughter and tears - with insightful and entertaining presentations on their respective journeys in life and business.

Two further valued speakers, Tigrent Learning UK associates, Kevin Green and Dr Rohan Weerasinghe, also took to the stage with Kevin presenting a new Tigrent Learning UK Social Housing training programme, specifically in relation to his 2009 Secret Millionaire experience and Rohan introducing the importance of mindset and lifestyle management within the context of business and entrepreneurship.
